Editor’s note: Today we welcome MFA Strategist, David Perrera as our guest blogger.

On my live Blab! the other night one of our superstar clients, Eddie Coleman, was on with me and asked, “What characteristics do you see among your clients who are really able to turn the corner and consistently enjoy six- and seven-figure incomes from this business?”

I answered, “It’s really the difference between those who think like an investor, vs. those who have the ‘mom-and-pop’ mentality.”

In other words, the investor says, “I have a widget that I bought for $1, and I am going to sell this widget at break-even, or possibly even at a loss, to get a new customer, because I know a new customer is worth $500 over the course of the next year…”

Compare that to the “mom-and-pop entrepreneur” who says “I need to sell this $1 widget I bought for at least $2, or I will lose my shirt…”

In retrospect, however, while this is true, I now believe that the answer goes far beyond just a difference in mentality.

What it takes to CRUSH it online

I started to think about the hundreds of phone conversations I’ve had here at MFA working with both small and large business owners over the course of the past year as a strategist, coach and as Todd’s first personal apprentice. Those that are CRUSHING it in this business and those that… well, to be quite frank… aren’t.

What I have found is that there are really two different types of people in this business (Yes I’m going to generalize… hold onto your pucker). There are people like “Theo” and people like “Isaac”.

Isaac is taking massive, targeted action, and Theo THINKS he is taking massive action. Let me explain.

You see, Theo gets an awesome idea. He has an entrepreneurial mindset, and he’s ready to put his plan in place. He starts working on his awesome idea, and then hits a roadblock.

This might mean he can’t figure out how to connect his autoresponder to his landing page, or maybe he can’t get his logo placed correctly on his website, or maybe he can’t figure out how to position his messaging properly… something like that. Theo gets frustrated and tables his idea.

The next thing he knows, Theo hears his inbox “ding” and the next info marketer sells him the “biggest and best” silver-bullet, whiz-bang product, and Theo is off to the next idea.

Contrast this with Isaac, who is taking massive, targeted action.

Same scenario, however Isaac doesn’t quit. He is determined to make sure he can connect the dots. He stays focused; he doesn’t deviate; and he shuts out all noise until he has completed his task.

You have a choice…

So I’m going to spare you the “Be like Isaac” stick figure drawing that you probably see on social media right now, but I will ask you to consider: “Which one do you want to be like?”

Grant Cardone says “Do what others REFUSE to do.”

Todd Brown says ““I laugh when people think I am smarter than they are. The only difference is that I will work harder and longer than anyone.”

Gary Vaynerchuk says- “Ideas are (expletive beginning with S). Execution is the name of the game. Just. Make. It. Happen.”

Do you see the similarities?

Now, if you are thinking, “I feel like Theo”, don’t worry, there is hope! You just need someone to first validate your idea, point your nose in that direction, shut out ALL NOISE and then help you NOT to quit until every piece of the project is done.

If you want help validating your idea, schedule a time to speak with me HERE. Just like reading this free article, there is no charge for us to talk. 😉

Now, if you are Isaac, but you don’t feel like you have gotten the traction you should have after taking massive amounts of action, I have good news. Usually there are one or two things you need to change or tweak… and I would love to look at your funnel to help you point them out. Schedule a time with me HERE.

I am truly excited when I help clients get a breakthrough just by showing them one or two things they can change in order to get their marketing back on track.

So there you have it. The story of Isaac and Theo. Which one will you be? If you are ready to be an Isaac and CRUSH it, click HERE now!

Editor’s note: Today’s blogpost is from MFA Funnel Strategist, David Perrera. Dave joined MFA in March of 2015 and has been personally mentored by Todd Brown. David lives in Florida with his wife and two kids. He’s done everything from door-to-door sales to telemarketing to managing a $5M+/year business. When he’s not helping MFA clients turbo-charge their funnels, David loves to spend time with his family and volunteer at his church. Funny fact: David started out in sales by selling cups of Pepsi at a local auction. 🙂
