In my opinion, Andre Chaperon is the best email marketer around.

His open rates, click-thru rates, and sales conversion rates are… frankly… startling.

And that’s why he’s able to generate tens of thousands of dollars from a just a few emails. And, do it over and over month after month.

Last week, while I was at a mastermind meeting in Baltimore, Andre shared how he does it.

Here’s a tiny peek into what he said (paraphrased):

“I only send my email promo sequences to the prospects who have demonstrated an interest in what I’m promoting. I start every email campaign for a product by having the prospects self identify themselves. Then, I put those prospects into a special segment. And, then, only mail the promotional emails to that segment.”

And that’s why Andre is consistently able to extract tens of thousands of dollars from tiny little lists (segments). And, do it over and over.

So, how can you use Andre’s approach to jack-up your own open rate, click-thru rate, and sales conversion rate?

First, you need to understand when and how to segment prospects on your email list.

Then, you need to deliver a solid sequence of emails to turn that list into buyers of whatever product or service you’re offering.

How To Do It…

One of the simple ways to segment your list prior to starting a promotional email campaign, is to simply send out a piece of content — a blog post, video, PDF, etc. — about the topic you’ll be discussing in your promotional emails.

The prospects who click the link to consume the content should then get put on the special segment list. The prospects who don’t click the link should not get put on the special segment list.

(For good measure, I recommend you send out a second email the next day for all the prospects who didn’t click the link to consume the content… giving them one more opportunity.)

Then, when you’re ready to start mailing your promotional emails, you only send the emails to the prospects on the segment list.

What type of emails should you send to the segment… to get them to buy?

Well, one of the sequences you can use is Ryan Deiss’s “Gain, Logic, Fear” sequence.

Rather than explain it here, I recommend you simply watch Ryan’s training video.

You’ll not only see the sequence… you’ll also get a copy of Ryan’s GLF emails you can download, swipe, and use.

And that’s it.

  1. Segment your prospects.
  2. Send them a tweaked version of Ryan’s GLF sequence.
  3. Rinse and repeat.
